Which geo-grid density should I choose — Urban, Suburb, or Service-Area?

Choose the density that matches how far your customers travel to you. Urban packs the 16 points tightly (about 0.25 miles apart) for dense city blocks; Suburb (about 1 mile apart) is the default and fits most local businesses; Service-Area spreads them wide (about 3–5 miles) for trades that cover a whole region.

What you'll use: The density selector on the Geo-grid page (Urban / Suburb / Service-Area).

Steps

  1. Go to Dashboard → Geo-grid.
  2. Think about your real service radius: a walk-in shop draws from a small area (Urban or Suburb); a plumber or HVAC company covers many miles (Service-Area).
  3. Pick the matching density — it changes the spacing between the 16 points so the grid covers the area your customers actually come from.
  4. Re-run the grid after changing density so the new spacing is scanned (it counts as one of your monthly manual re-runs).
Why this matters: Density decides what area the grid measures — too tight and you miss neighborhoods you serve; too wide and you're checking places no customer would search from.
