What happens to my data if I change the business I track?

Changing the business you track is a full reset. AyanaSEO re-runs its scans against the new listing and starts accruing fresh rank history, competitors, and sentiment for it — the previous business's tracked history doesn't carry over. It's single-location by design: one business per subscription at a time.

Because everything (rankings, geo-grid, competitors, reviews, audit) is anchored to one specific Google listing and location, pointing at a different business means all of it is recomputed from scratch for the new one. Your rank-history chart, which builds forward from your first scan, begins again for the new listing.

So change the tracked business only when you've genuinely switched what you're monitoring — not to “peek” at another business, since it resets the history you've been building. If you run more than one location, that's what the Pro plan (multi-location, coming soon) is for.

Everything else about your account — login, subscription, billing — stays the same; only the tracked listing and its data change.

Why this matters: It's easy to assume switching is harmless — knowing it's a fresh start stops you from accidentally wiping the history you've been building.
