Keywords

What's the difference between priority, map, and regular keywords?

Your 50 keywords sit in three overlapping tiers. Priority keywords — up to 10 — are checked every night, so you see movement fastest on the searches that matter most. Map keywords — up to 5 — are the ones the geo-grid heatmap scans across your area. The rest refresh weekly. You decide which keywords go where.

Priority (nightly): reserve these for your highest-value searches — the terms that actually bring calls. They're the ones you'll watch day to day.

Map (geo-grid): pick up to 5 keywords where where-you-rank-across-town matters most; those are painted as heatmaps on the Geo-grid page.

Regular (weekly): everything else in your 50 is still tracked, just on a weekly cycle, which is plenty for the long tail. Set your tiers in the “All tracked keywords” manager, each with its own cap.

Why this matters: The tiers are how you spend tracking where it counts — nightly attention on your money keywords, geo detail on the ones worth mapping, weekly coverage on the rest.
